Development of Quality Systems for Ex Equipment Manufacture

If your organization requires an ATEX Quality Assurance Notification (QAN) or IECEx Quality Assessment Report (QAR) for a manufacturing facility. Your organization may or may not currently have a Quality System compliant to ISO 9001 (Certification to ISO 9001 is not a prerequisite) . Consultancy can be given to assist your organization in developing or extending your Quality System to be compliant the requirements of ISO/IEC 80079-34 and the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.

Looking Forward

A new revision of Standard ISO/IEC 80079-34 (Edition 2.0) is due for publication in August 2018 (Forecast publication date 31st August 2018). The standard is being redrafted to bring it in line with Annex SL (the same structure as ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management Systems - Requirements)which defines the framework for a generic management system. All new ISO Management System Standards (MSS) will adhere to this framework and all current MSS will migrate at their next revision.
